THE CFC “REVOLT” THAT WAS

        An anonymous blogger suggested verification of the account on JDF et al's "revolt" - not rebellion because it was short-lived - posted in a MisOr GK-supportive Blog.
        Another anonymous blogger countered that four months into that infamous revolt, the truths will have seeped into the consciousness of the CFC members who joined it, even as a new, brighter day dawns on the reinvigorated CFC-IC.
        Well, since the JDF revolt is still too close for our objective view, we may see only portions of the truth,  such that “my own version of it may be different from yours…” (You may refer to the letters of rebellion and CFC-IC's responses thereto as posted in this blog
HERE,

HERE,
HERE,
HERE
HERE,
HERE,
HERE
HERE and HERE).
        Therefore we must have “reasoned” and “historical” truths along with the ONLY TRUTH, OUR GOD WHO HUMBLED HIMSELF IN THE LOWLY MANGER DURING CHRISTMAS.
        In this context, we post here the “truth” about the revolt as seen by a certain “Pito” who wrote and publicly shared by email his 18-day old account of it on August 17, 2009, entitled: “CFC CALLS THE BLUFF OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL REBEL-LEADERS”.
        From whichever angle one is coming:
        May he see the forest more than the trees;
        May WE all single-mindedly strain FORWARD towards the same GOAL - JESUS CHRIST!;
        May we come to terms with our own identity and limitations;
        May we have peace in our hearts;
        May we wish EVERYONE, with whom we once shared a common covenant as Couples for Christ, "GODSPEED  AND GOD BLESS" in our separate journeys.

MORE PICTURES OF THE 22ND CFC ANNIVERSARY

  HAIL TO OUR SERVANT-LEADERS!!!

A Sister Joy sent additional pictures, which we have included in an expanded Slide Presentation of the photos from her.   Press to view them there in the slide-show gadget.  Thank you Sister Joy!

Out of the many shots sent, there's one that at least give's a bird's eye view of the CFC faithful that occupied the entire MacArthur Park.  This one shows a Cluster's indigenous dance-presentation using the "FORWARD IN CHRIST!" motif (sorry I cannot recall which Cluster this is) with the thick crowd of CFC watching:

CFC RESTORED - 2: BRING THE FIRST FRUITS!!!

FIRST FRUITS FESTIVAL!!!
On January 3, 2010,
at CAPITOL UNIVERSITY GYMNASIUM,
Cagayan de Oro City

        BROTHERS AND SISTERS, we may bring farm products: grains (rice, corn, sweet corn, young yellow corn), fruits (may be good to bring 'bulig' or whole bunch of bananas or whole fruits like jackfruit, durian, etc.), first-born and choicest of animals [we'll ask CFC brethren to help in 'tugway' or taking care of the waste - wonder though unsaon paghandle sa pag-offer sa nati nga baka (calf) o kaha gihiktan nga baboy (pig or piglet), o manok (chicken) ... sige lang, bibo man hinoon ug birahon paingon sa altar ang buhing animal offering], cooked or uncooked food, and of course, cash offering.

        Rice, fruit and others brought for offering in the festival will be given to our priests for their konsumo.  Ang kadtong cooked and ready-to-eat nga pagkaon, let our families and us feast on them: nilung-ag nga rice, gabe, ube, kamote, uban pa nga rootcrops ug saging; sinugba nga isda, karne, or shells/talaba; kinilaw nga isda, talong, kamatis ug ginamos; pansit and all other noodle preparations; also cakes, pastries, and sweets.

        In short, all imaginable food, ma-exotic man o dili, native man o imported, basta tanan lamian!

        God's people need to enjoy a day to celebrate His favors and goodness!!!

        As a people of expectant faith, we are sure we will receive abundant favors and blessings from God throught the NEW YEAR.

        THUS, in the FIRST FRUITS FESTIVAL ON JANUARY 3, 2010 AT THE CAPITOL UNIVESITY GYMNASIUM, we give an OBLATION or THANKSGIVING, which is not similar to the obligation we offer through our tithes.

        It will depend on each us how much we shall share with God for the uncommon graces and blessings we expect to receive from Him throughout the year.

        THERE WILL BE DANCING AS CLUSTERS ARE EXPECTED TO OFFER THE DANCES PRESENTED DURING THE 22ND ANNIVRESARY, WITHOUT AS MUCH POMP, THOUGH, OR DEPENDING ON THE PRESENTORS.

        PRAISE OUR ALMIGHTY GOD!!!
